Need Help With Your Designing?
How do we work together on designing
We work closely with you throughout the 3D modeling and printing process to ensure the final product meets your needs. If you require a replacement part, you can provide details about its function, dimensions, and fit, along with reference images to help us create an accurate 3D model. Our design team and technicians will guide you through material selection and technical considerations, ensuring the part is optimized for strength, durability, and performance before 3D printing.
Tip: The more details and images you provide, the better we can design a precise and functional model for you.
What determines the cost?
The cost of 3D modeling is 750 NOK per hour. The final price of your 3D-printed part depends on several factors, including the material used, print size, and any necessary post-processing such as cleaning and finishing after printing.
A material attributes chart is available below, providing a simple overview of the strengths and properties of different materials. If you have any questions about material selection or cost estimation, feel free to contact us for guidance.
How do I choose the right material for my project?
The choice of material depends on the function and environment your part will be exposed to. Different materials offer unique properties, including:
- Stiffness vs. Flexibility: Some materials are rigid and strong, while others have flexibility to absorb impact.
- Heat and Cold Resistance: High-temperature materials withstand extreme heat, while others perform better in freezing conditions.
- Friction and Wear Resistance: If the part will experience repeated movement or abrasion, choosing a durable material is key.
- Weather and Chemical Resistance: Certain materials resist UV exposure, moisture, and harsh chemicals, making them ideal for outdoor or industrial use.
- Opacity and Color Options: Transparent materials, like clear PETG, allow visibility for specific applications, while other materials come in different colors for aesthetic or functional use.
